PRE-SCHOOL

In Pre school, our Montessori methodology blended with the British curriculum is committed to serving children between the ages of 2 to 5 years. We also follow the basic Montessori philosophy incorporating art, music and movement, dance, gymnastics, computer and outdoor play activities. In our classrooms we use age-appropriate activities and learning tools, to create a flexible environment to meet the needs and interests of every child in our care. While we strongly feel that Pre-school years need to be full of nurturing and praise, we take pride in teaching independence and preparing our children for the years ahead of them.

BASIC 1-5

Teaching from the age of 5 is by subject and is conducted by highly qualified specialist staff. Our classes average around 20 pupils.Our curriculum and assessment procedures takes into account the blended British-Nigerian curriculum.This gives us an objective assessment of each learner’s progress and allows us to monitor their academic progress

SECONDARY

Teaching from the age of 11 is by subject and administered by professional teachers. The Nigerian curriculum is implemented in full to prepare our students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and other external national examinations (NECO, GCE, NAPTEB).The infusion of our creative extra-curricular activities makes our citadel of learning stand out.

PRINCIPAL

Mr Agbo Praise Paul Oyigba is a certified teacher with over a decade years of teaching experience. He has B.Sc in International Relations, B.Ed in Educational Management and National Certificate in Education. He also has his Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management and a certificate from Google in fundamentals of Digital Marketing.

His vast knowledge, visionary eyes and leadership skills has helped in championing the course of the great citadel of learning.

ALUMNI

For almost two decades, Royalland has been graduating academia each year who are mentally and emotionally sound and are contributing meaningfully to their environment.

We host PROM NIGHT every year for our outgoing SS3 and use same medium to reach out to our alumni as well.
